Ollie's Trolley: Great Breakfast Fare to Fuel a Tour of the Smithsonian

OLLIE'S TROLLEY, WASHINGTON, DC
Ollie's Trolley, just blocks away from the Smithsonian campus in Washington D.C. was a great find. During our road trip, we decided to stop over for one night in Washington D.C., and we were hoping to enjoy as much of the Smithsonian Museums as we could get into the day. Our plan was to get up early, check out of our hotel, check out what we could of the magnificent national collection (that is by the way FREE to all Americans, in case any of you were not aware), and then hit the road.

Getting up early is not an easy thing for us normally, and it is even more difficult during vacation. Cramming in activities during our vacations is often a prelude to being more tired following vacation than when our trip began! This morning was no exception. After getting things together and making it out the door, we were still zombies with a single-minded desire for breakfast and most importantly, coffee.

That was when Ollie's Trolley appeared to us like a mirage, and its glowing OPEN sign beckoned us in.

The menu was diverse with breakfast fare and the likes of burgers and fries all available anytime.
